Printmaking and collage. Art 180 ~ Personal Project.

Updated: May 16, 2019

Experiment printmaking with used items of rubbish and acrylic paints. Cardboard food packaging, jar lids, cellophane food wrapping and a used dish washing sponge. The process was simple, playful, dipping the materials into paint; fun, childish but a relaxing way of making colourful abstract prints by reusing food packaging with great results. I went on to use the prints in cutout form, rearranging the cut up pieces to create collages of layered, pattern and shape.
